The JFK Files: Democrat LBJ Was A Member Of The KKK … But Thats Not All

Kirsters Baish| There has been some extremely interesting information coming out after the release of select JFK files. In these reveals, information has come out that states that Lee Harvey Oswald spoke to an infamous agent who was part of the “sabotage and assassination department” of the KGB just two days before JFK was murdered. Oswald also met with the same agent two months before the murder in Mexico City.

Why was this information not released to the public by the government in the past? This is completely shocking, especially considering the fact that Oswald had previous connections to the Soviet Union.

The Washington Post also found something very interesting in the form of a memo. This memo is pretty embarrassing for the Democrats and leaves us with a very important question that must be answered.

Is it a possibility that Lyndon B. Johnson was a member of the Ku Klux Klan? The memo states that the Klan had a member who made claims that Johnson was indeed a member.

The memo states that Ned Touchstone, the editor of The Councilor and also a Ku Klux Klan member, claimed he had proof that LBJ was also a member during his start in Texas. This new information leaves us looking at Johnson in a completely different light. He and his “Great Society” with his domestic programs such as welfare are not what we once thought they were. The “goal” of the Great Society was to get rid of poverty and racial injustice… but is it possible there was an anterior motive to his goals?

We were already aware that when Johnson was signing the Civil Rights Act, he was still a racist man. The following are some clear examples of his racism.

Doris Kearns Goodwin, a respected historian, reported that LBJ had said:

These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.

You cannot forget about the well known piece from Ronald Kessler from “Inside the White House: The Hidden Lives of the Modern Presidents and the Secrets of the World’s Most Powerful Institution.”

The excerpt below has some graphic language that may be offensive to some:

Johnson, like other presidents, would often reveal his true motivations in asides that the press never picked up. During one trip, Johnson was discussing his proposed civil rights bill with two governors. Explaining why it was so important to him, he said it was simple: “I’ll have them niggers voting Democratic for two hundred years.”

“That was the reason he was pushing the bill,” said MacMillan, who was present during the conversation. “Not because he wanted equality for everyone. It was strictly a political ploy for the Democratic party. He was phony from the word go.”

While the memo isn’t completely clear about what the proof is exactly, they seem to have some kind of proof on Johnson. We are left wondering if this former Democratic President was truly the man America once thought he was.
